The so called
Ley Sinde (named after the Minister of Culture) was the trigger of several campaigns for denounce and make Spanish politicians understand how absurd a law like that is. After discovering,
thanks to Wikileaks, that the above mentioned law came to us dictated directly from the USA after a proposal known as Biden Law, the law in Spain was renamed as Sinde-Biden. Currently the law is known as Ley Sinde-Biden-Wert or just
Ley Sinde-Wert (after the new Minister for Education, Culture and Sports who has finally implemented it)... As a response, we've come up with

As you might know, the lobby from the cultural industry has not ceased its activity and finally the law to "protect the authors" will come into effect next 1st March. The context in which it will enter is really worrying:
At the beginning of this year, the owner of Megaupload was detained in New Zeland in a disproportionate operation, running out of arguments about the necessity of approving another controversial law: SOPA.
In a much closer context to us, last week in Spain, that is, two weeks before the new law will come into effect, the Spanish Justice stated once again that Cinetube, one of the webs denounced for sharing links, is legal. You can read about it here.
The idea behind Wert de Enlaces is:
We have chosen a Copyrighted© work from a member of SGAE [N.T.: the main Spanish collecting society].
In order to participate in this action you only have to link his work from your blog or use it without his permission and allow to be denounced by the creator to the Ministry of Culture Comission in charge to process without any judicial trial the denounces of the Sinde-Wert Law.
At some point from 1st March, the author will surely get annoyed and he will denounce all the websites that have linked his work : )

The aim of this action is testing this law and being the first ones who use it in order to show the absurdity and the censorship that it will bring, as we have already shown its inefficiency in the Disobedience to Sinde Law's Manual [Manual de desobediencia a la Ley Sinde].
